The mosque is located in Narinda, Dhaka. This is the oldest mosque in Dhaka. And among the mosques of the country probably the second old mosque. The mosque has a single mihrab on the western wall. According to the inscription of the mosque, in the year 1456, during the reign of Sultan Mahmud Shah, the mosque was built by Musmat Bakht Binat, the daughter of Marhamat. The renovation of the mosque has resulted in a lot of changes in the original form. Initially it was a small mosque with 1 dome. There were 1 entrance on the north, south and east walls. There were four detonators in the 4 corners of the mosque.
